Unbelievably, Pulis actually says that Shawcross has received 'nigh-on 300 emails' from Arsenal fans, which 'clear Shawcross of the blame'. Er... be good to see a few of these wouldn't it? First thing I thought was 'ooh, unlucky Aaron, hope Ryan is ok, I might send him an email...' Can't see ANY sane Arsenal fan sympathising with the Stoke player I'm afraid, let alone nigh-on 300...

Further team news this morning as it looks like William Gallas will miss the Burnley game and may miss Porto next week. Sol Campbell may also be injured, with a 'little problem' according to le Boss which could spell the return of Silvestre... great.
He also said: "Arshavin could be available and there is a little, little chance that Diaby could be available again, too. I am convinced that Denílson and Arshavin will be ok but for Diaby it is 50-50..." Vela will also miss the game, as we bid to go top and win by 4 goals... why do I get the feeling, its not going to be quite that straightforward?
