Van Persie Back... Wilshere World Cup... Stuff...

Rocking! Robin to Return!
Forgotten man, Robin van Persie is all set to return to action this week, and will feature in some capacity tomorrow night as we prepare to end Tottenhams season. Van Persie, you may remember bust his ankle last year playing in a meaningless friendly and has missed almost the whole season.

In today's press conference, Le Boss has said he is back, and in the squad, giving us a timely boost ahead of the North London derby...

Sol Campbell will also play against his old club, still no word on Alex Dimitri Song Billong though at this stage so assume he's ok. Following their hilarious FA Cup exit, Spurs have a few injury problems of their own, with Aaron Lennon out, along with Corluka (possibly) Nico Kranjcar and Jermaine Jenas. Wilson Palacios also misses the game through suspension. Shame.

Takeover Imminent?
Following Lady Nina's decision to sell up so she can get herself a few more pearl necklaces, reports flying around that we may well be the target of more boredroom antics. Read all about it here, cos I can't be arsed with it...

Jack An Option...
Bolton Boss Owen Coyle has been lauding little Jack Wilshere who he has on loan. He thinks Little Jack is good enough for the World Cup, and said: "I am biased because I work with Jack on a daily basis, but I would take him with England. England are already blessed with some top midfielders but if you are looking for one to go and be earmarked for the future then it is him. He is such a talented young English player, he has got an unbelievably rosy future. It is up to him how far he goes but he is getting better by the game. He is so pleasing to the eye on the ball, he sees a pass and there are goals in him, too. He will continue to get better and he is maturing as a person as well..."

AA Going Nowhere...
Following pretty lame speculation that Arshavin would be leaving in the summer, his agent Dennis Lactator has said the White Russian is going nowhere: "This is the first time I am hearing about this speculation, we haven't spoken about this at all, he is an Arsenal player. I firmly believe he will be at Arsenal next season..." ...and as we know, agents don't tell lies do they...

I know you've seen it already, but Arshavin's website is utter genius.

Q: Andrey, are you frightened of bears?
AA: On the contrary, I like bears.
