Burnley 1 - 1 Arsenal...
If you'd have said four points from 2 tough away games up North against Liverpool and Burnley, I am sure Sir Wenger would have snapped your hand off. Not literally of course as that would have been common assault, but metaphorically speaking. But following a frankly BRILLIANT win over Liverpool at Anfield, the stage was set to push on from that, with a tricky away tie at Turf Moor. However, these plucky Norvern teams rarely read the script, and even after an early Fabregas goal, Burnley could have and should have beaten us.
Talisman and inventor of the telephone Graham Alexander belted home the equalising penalty, and the Clarets had a lot more chances to win it than we did. Ah well, not much we can do any more, back on the horse for the visit of the Oompah Loompah Phil Brown and his men this weekend as we look to avenge last seasons defeat by Hull City...
Wenger to Man City...? er...
Injury Update...
Looks like Fabregas' busted hamstring isn't quite as bad as first thought. It's thought he WILL miss Saturday's game with Hull, but will hopefully be back in contention after that. It's expected that Denilson should return to paper over the cracks...
