Toffeemen Draw... Injury Update... Cesc/Den/Theo Back?

Arsenal 2 - 2 Everton...
As the weather gripped the fixtures like a shivery vice this weekend, ours and Man United's fixture wriggled free from its icy grasp, and both missed the chance to catch up with Chelsea at the top of the league. Man United struggled to hold on at Birmingham and we were lucky to get a point at home to an Everton side we trounced 6-1 on the opening day of the season.

In a poor performance, Denilson and Rosicky both hit Lampards (deflected strikes) to get us back into the game, but a point was all we deserved in all honesty.

With Man United drawing later in the day on ESPN, the result is a chance missed, but 4 points from 2 games with Everton isn't too bad if we're being honest...

Emmanuel Eboue in a penalty controversy at the ANC? Whatever next...!?

Denilson to Return...
Denilson should return to the fold after being stretchered off in dramatic circumstances at the end of our game against Everton. He fell to the ground clutching his side, but it seems like a muscle strain, and the player admitted he could be back for the trip to Bolton this weekend. Theo and Fabregas should also be back for the game, where New Manager Syndrome (NMS) could play a big part as Owen Coyle takes charge for the first time...

Frantastic News...
Despite rumours to the contrary, Fran Merida is looking to stick around at The Emirates. Reports linked him to a move to Spain last week but the players denied such antics: "My agent and I are only talking to Arsenal at the moment, though, and nobody else - first of all I want to see how my situation looks here and then I'll decide what to do..."

Not much else going on, hoping for a signing this week as we don't have a game... yawn...
