England have a friendly with Japan in Austria in June, and will like the Spaniards, cut the 30 man squad down to just 23 ahead of next months' World Cup. Injured Cesc has been picked for the preliminary Spanish squad ahead of June's World Cup finals, which you may have heard of. Fernando Torres who's half a boy and half a girl has been selected as well despite being injured...

Cesc said in his programme notes from the Fulham game that things are going to plan: "The timing is looking good for the World Cup, but I am sad not to have played a part in the end of Arsenal's season..."
